Flatlander Chocolate Bars Available!

Dear friends and supporters of the Flatlander Fund (and chocolate lovers everywhere!):

With less than 10 days left before the holidays, many are scrambling for last minute gifts and trying to find “that perfect gift”.

What if you could support a great cause and get one of the best chocolate bars you’ll ever taste at the same time?

The Flatlander Fund is accepting $25 donations for the last remaining chocolate bars made by the late Daniel Schreiber, an amazing bean-to-bar chocolate maker in Urbana who died in July. This chocolate is worth every penny of this donation – it is truly amazing chocolate.

The Flatlander Fund was established in his memory, pursuing his dream of building a community kitchen: a place to cultivate small food-based businesses and nurture and feed our community.

We have 3 type of bars left:

  • Republica Dominicana (75% dark with sugar crystals)
  • Madagascar (77% dark)
  • Republica Dominicana (80% dark)

Each bar is for a $25 tax-deductible donation to the Flatlander Fund. Spend $100 and get 5 bars, or make a $200 donation to get 12 bars. The Flatlander Fund accepts cash, credit cards, and checks.

The bars are available at the do good Consulting office at 201 W. Green in downtown Urbana (SW corner of Green and Race – free parking!) and at the Common Ground Food Co-op on the east side of Lincoln Square Mall in downtown Urbana. Or contact Flatlander Fund volunteer Laura Huth at 217-778-1687 or donate@flatlanderfund.org to arrange a pick-up (or even a drop-off!)
